The sun blind (D and E) is located in the center bar between the movable and the stationary glass panels.

Task
The sun blind provides protection from the sun for vehicle passengers.

Design
The sun blind is made of an opaque material and is driven by a DC motor equipped with a thermal circuit breaker. Two Hall sensors are installed at the motor shaft for position measurement.
