Position Measurement Outside Rearview Mirror

Function
A potentiometer is installed at the axis of the mirror adjustment motor up and down (M21/1m2)/(M21/2m2) and the mirror adjustment motor inwards and outwards (M21/1m1)/(M21/2m2) in the left/right outside rearview mirror for determining position

The voltage applied to the potentiometer's center tap is dependent upon the respective mirror glass position. It is read by the left front, door-control module (N69/1)/right front, door-control module (N69/2) and analyzed there for the position measurement.
