Interior Rearview Mirror Unit

Location
The interior rearview mirror unit (A67) and the overhead control panel control module (N70) are located in the center of the headliner at the front.

Task
For observing traffic to the rear.

Design
The automatic forward mirror dimming sensor (A67h1) is located in the mirror housing (at the rear) and the automatic rear mirror dimming sensor (A67h2) is located in the mirror glass.

Function
The glass of the interior rearview mirror unit (A67) can be electrochromatically dimmed. It is dimmed in relation to the parameters measured by the automatic forward mirror dimming sensor (A67h1) and the automatic rear mirror dimming sensor (A67h2).
