2 Microphone wiring harness for sound system
3 TELE AID wiring harness (with code (855) TELE AID)
B25/6 Sound amplifier microphone

1. Lay new headliner (1) down on suitable clean subsurface.
2. Shim new headliner (1) with suitable clean spacers, e.g. foam rubber or Styrofoam pads.

Do not use any hard or sharp-edge objects, otherwise the cover of the new headliner (1) can be damaged

The foam rubber and Styrofoam pads prevent the new headliner (1) from sagging when performing the following steps.







3. Remove strips of adhesive tape (4).
4. Connect electrical connector (6) for new sound amplifier microphone (B25/6) with electrical connector (7) for new microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) and arrest on sound amplifier microphone (B25/6).
5. Align new sound amplifier microphone (B25/6) in specified hole pattern (5) in new headliner (1) and glue with approx. 10 cm long strip of adhesive tape (8) as illustrated.

Press on strips of adhesive tape sufficiently, otherwise sound amplifier microphone (B25/6) can detach

6. Route new microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) and glue with approx. 10 cm long strip of adhesive tape at a distance of approx. 10 cm onto new headliner (1).

Do not cross microphone wiring harness for sound system (2) with TELE AID wiring harness (with code (855) TELE AID) and press strips of adhesive tape on sufficiently, otherwise a short circuit can result from chafing on the roof paneling

The old roof paneling (1) serves as a guide for routing the wiring harness.
