AN31.11-P-8080-02PB Fabricating A Bumper Cutout







1. Cut out opening for trailer hitch in bumper (1).

The cutout is pre-perforated on inside of bumper (1).







2. Install cover (2) in bumper (1) and transfer holes (arrow) to bumper (1).
3. Remove cover (2) and drill marked holes with 6 mm dia. bit and deburr.







4. Insert bumper (1) and ensure that the brackets (6) are inserted into the guides (5) on left and right.

Move adjustment screws (10) into retaining sheet metal plates.







5. Tighten nuts (3) so that it is still possible to turn adjustment bolts (10).
6. Set a uniform gap on bumper (1) with adjustment bolts (10).
7. Tighten nut (3).
