Triggering Alarm-Anti Theft Alarm System

Alarm Triggering Shown On Model 203.0:

The anti-theft alarm system (ATA[EDW]) alarm can be triggered by the following:
- Actuation of an outer skin contact,
- The anti-towing sensor (TS[AS]),
- The alarm signal horn with additional battery (H3/1)

On vehicles with code 882 or 491 (USA) also by:
- The interior motion sensor (IMS[IRS]),
- In model 203.2 also by the glass breakage sensors in the rear side windows and the rear window.
- In model 203.7 also by the glass breakage sensor in the rear window.

Function requirements
Activating the ATA[EDW] arms the corresponding inputs.

Function sequence
Only armed inputs are polled by the control modules. If two successive polls of the same input return anything other than the idle status, then the relevant control module transmits the CAN message to trigger the alarm. The rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) executes both an acoustic and a visual alarm.

NOTE: In vehicles with code 491 (USA) the panic button on the transmitter key can also be used to trigger a panic alarm.
