Triggering Alarm By Alarm Signal Siren
The siren is operational when the ATA system is activated (armed). When the siren is armed, it must be cyclically signaled by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) (hold signal).
The alarm signal siren with auxiliary battery (H3/1) can trigger an alarm automatically. This happens if, with the ATA activated,
- The connecting cables to the siren are cut
- The vehicle battery is disconnected
Alarm triggering by communication breakdown to siren
If within t = 1s no response from the siren is received by the ATA after cyclic signaling by the rear SAM control module with fuse and relay module (N10/2) with three repeats, then a country-specific alarm is emitted. The alarm is emitted visually only, as the siren cannot be contacted.
If the siren detects the loss of the supply voltage or of communications, it automatically emits an acoustic alarm.
NOTE: Once triggered, an alarm can only be canceled by deactivating or reactivating the ATA.
