Switch Off Interior Motion Sensor
Location Shown On Model 203.0:
Function requirements
The interior motion sensor (EMS[IRS]) can only be switched off
- before activation of the anti-theft alarm system (ATA[EDW) and with
- Circuit 15 OFF
- Circuit 15R may be ON
Function
To switch off the EMS[IRS], press the TS/MS[AS/ERS] switch with ATA[EDW] function display (N72/1s7). The acknowledgement signal begins 0.5s after releasing the switch and sounds for 2s. Deactivation of the EMS[IRS] is acknowledged by the turn signals for 2s (t = 80 ms ON, t = 80 ms OFF).
Upon subsequent activation of the ATA[EDW] the IMS[IRS] remains non-functional.
NOTE: The EMS[IRS] is only off for the period of one ATA[EDW] activation. Before the next activation of the ATA[EDW] the switch off procedure must be repeated (if desired).
NOTE: Pressing the switch again to switch off the anti-towing sensor (TS[AS]) is only effective after the LED acknowledgment signal.
NOTE: In model 205.2 the left rear window glass breakage sensor (B39), the right rear window glass breakage sensor (B39/1) and the rear window glass breakage sensor (B39/4) (also in model 203.7) are connected to the interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14). The glass breakage sensors are activated and their data interpreted by the interior motion sensor transmitter and receiver (A26/14).
