AR49.10-P-7000A Remove/Install Complete Exhaust System

Removing and installing exhaust system complete

CAUTION: On Model 210.0747, 274 with Engine 113.980, pay attention to the larger Shore hardness of the rubber mounts (9/1).

1 Disconnect connectors (G3/302x1, G3/4x1) for left and right oxygen sensors before TWC.
2 Detach front axle torsion bar from longitudinal frame member and swivel torsion bar downward.
- Model 210.063/263/065/265.
- Replace bolts.

3 Unscrew screws (11/1) at flange connection of front exhaust system/exhaust manifold.
- If bolts are sluggish or thread is damaged, Replace rivet nuts in exhaust manifold.

4 Unscrew nuts (11/2) on support Replace nuts.
5.1 Unbolt bolt (11/5) of suspension on downstream exhaust system.
- Model 210.063/065/070/074.

5.2 Unhook downstream exhaust system off rubber mount (9/1).
- Model 210.265/263/270/282/274.
- Inspect rubber mount (9/1) for damage, replace if necessary.

6 Lift out exhaust system complete.

CAUTION: Ensure that the heat shield (11/6) is not damaged when removing or installing the support.

7 Install in the reverse order.

NOTE: Install exhaust system free of stress.
