Rear Hinge Recess Corrosion

If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles regarding rear hinge recess corrosion, do the following:

1. Blow out hinge recesses using compressed air and clean with silicone remover.

2. Remove rust from affected points and prime with EP priming filler.

3. Seal folding area using MB body sealant. Refer to EPC-net for parts information.

4. Apply paint with a brush.

5. Apply MB cavity preservation wax.
