AR32.20-P-0315C Remove/Install Torsion Bar on Rear Axle

Removing And Installing Torsion Bar On Rear Axle







CAUTION: Replace self-locking bolts and nuts.

1 Remove rear axle.
2 Remove connecting rod (78).
3 Remove fixing clamp (77b).
4 Remove torsion bar (77).

NOTE: Installation: Center torsion bar (77).

5 Pull rubber mount (77a) off torsion bar (77).
6 Remove steering idler arm (81)

CAUTION: Installation: The surface on the steering idler arm (81) must align with the surface on the torsion bar (77)

7 Install in the reverse sequence.
