Checking Alignment Of Rear Axle Carrier (removed)



















1 Remove, install rear axle
2 Remove, install rubber mount of rear axle suspension
3 Set up Celette straightening bench modular members
- Refer to Body Plan - Celette straightening bench
4 Install and secure checking fixtures (048a, 048b) in the supports of the Celette straightening bench
5 Place rear axle carrier complete (with axle halves) or as an individual part on the checking fixtures (048a, 048b) and fix to the upper parts of the checking fixtures (048c)
6 Measure dimension "L1-L3"

NOTE:
- Insert check pins (049) into corresponding reference holes and fasten with screws. Do not tighten check pins so that it is possible to align the centering holes when measuring.
- Insert check pins (L=58 mm) into fixtures for spring links and check pins (L=38 mm) into fixtures for camber struts and thrust arms.
