AR33.20-P-0425A Check Supporting/Follower Joints (Removed)

Checking Supporting Joint And Follower Joint Of Steering Knuckle Mount (removed)













1 Remove supporting joint
2 Remove upper transverse control arm
3 Move the ball pin in all directions with a approximately 150 mm long pipe

NOTE: The ball pin should move without play and without seizing, and should not cause any grinding noises

4 Check boot (7f, 8f)
- Check for cracks and damage if necessary replace supporting joint and/or upper transverse control arm
5 Install supporting joint
6 Install upper control arm
