Inability to Enter Total Distance in Instrument Cluster

As of Star Diagnosis (SDS) Version 10/05 with patch 0477 in the above model vehicles, the inability to enter total distance in the instrument cluster may be caused by incorrect software in SDS. To resolve, perform the following.

1. Do not immediately perform procedure one or two in DTB P-B-54.30/150.

2. Install new instrument cluster as per WIS document AR54.30-P-6015EA.

3. Change national version coding in the instrument cluster to "Rest of World" via menu path:

Instrument cluster --> control module adaptations --> read out / change code.

4. Enter total mileage in the instrument cluster via menu path: Instrument cluster --> control module adaptations --> settings --> advance odometer.

5. Change national version coding to USA

6. Version code instrument cluster:

a. To perform manual takeover, leave new instrument cluster installed. Then version code instrument cluster via menu path: Instrument cluster --> control module adaptations --> Read out / change code
