Remove/Install Piston Rings

Remove piston
1, 2, 3 Piston rings
- Measure side clearance

1, 2, 3 Piston rings
- Remove with pliers (10)

NOTE: Installation:
- measure ring width of piston rings
- Install piston rings with the same ring width
- Pay attention to installation position, "Top" or manufacturer's designation facing piston crown
- Insert hooked spring (8) in the oil scraper ring (3) 180 degrees offset to the gap (arrow)
