AR62.30-P-1600-02E Locating And Welding In Front Spring Support Using Straightening Tool

Workshop Equipment:

1. Grind welding flanges for front spring support (77) down to bare metal and punch (9 mm dia., arrows).
2. Punch holes in spot welding flanges for front spring support (77) (9 mm dia., arrows).
3. Install basic support (15) on modular member.
4. Fit front spring support (77) with support plate (17) as well as check and locating plate (19) to longitudinal member (37).
5. Position welded flanges at bottom using clamps.
6. Tack weld front spring support (77) to longitudinal member (37).
7. Remove straightening tool.
8. Complete welding front spring support (77) to longitudinal member (37).
(plug weld, 2 X continuous weld , min. 30 mm, arrows).
