Use of Firing Device
Firing device and adapter lead can be obtained through parts channels.

A separate adapter lead [7] -which is not included with the firing device- is required for firing airbags and emergency retractors.

1. Ensure that the steering wheel is mounted tightly on steering column and airbag is connected tightly to steering wheel (after firing an airbag the steering wheel is damaged and must also be scrapped).
2. Switch off ignition.
3. Complete contact between adapter lead [7] and connector [6].
4. Connect plug on adapter lead [7] with connector [8] for ETR control module with airbag (N2/2).
5. From specified safe distance (10 m) press battery check button [2] and simultaneously fire button [3]. (After firing the indicator lamp [5] lights up.)
