Whistling Noise from the ADS II Valve Unit





If you receive customer reports in the above model vehicles of a whistling and/or hissing noise from the suspension's adaptive damping system valve unit while in control mode, replace the pressure holding valve (Figure 1, arrow) and then raise and lower the vehicle three times using the level control switch (S77/1s2).

Note:
This noise is caused by tolerance variations which result in airflow vibrations.
