Body Acceleration Sensors
Body Acceleration SensorsTASK
Three acceleration sensors are used to measure the vertical acceleration of the vehicle body
DESIGN AND FUNCTION
The body acceleration sensors consist of an electronic vibrating module (the principle of operation is a spring/mass system)
They record the vertical body acceleration and transmit signals to the Adaptive Damping System (ADS) control module.
LOCATION
Screwed onto the body at the front left and right wheel house and on the rear right spring dome.
