NOTE:
^ The support joints (7c) are maintenance-free, i.e. they are provided with lifetime lubrication.
^ For this reason, support joints must be inspected carefully.
^ If dirt enters through a damaged boot (7f), this will lead to premature wear of the support joint.

JOINT
- Check by fitting a pipe approx. 150 mm long over the ball pin.
- The pipe must move from side to side without play, without jamming and without creaking noises

BOOT
- Check for cracks and damage.
- Check that wire clamping rings (7d and 7h) are correctly seated.

NOTE:
^ Boots damaged during installation must be replaced immediately
^ Always replace a ball joint which has been in operation with a damaged boot
