Removing, Installing Supporting Joint At Wheel Carrier (wheel Carrier Installed)







CAUTION: Installation: Replace self-locking nuts

DANGER:
- Lethal injuries are possible if vehicle slips off of lifting platform
- Align vehicle between the four pillars of the hoist and position the four support plates at the hoist mounting points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Unclip line of brake lining wear indicator at spring link, If present

2 Remove spring link (6) at wheel carrier (7)

CAUTION: Installation:The rear axle shaft must be horizontal when tightening the nuts.

3 Press wheel carrier (7) up out of spring link (6)

CAUTION: Installation: Do not damage rubber boots at supporting joint when installing in spring link.

4 Remove supporting joint (7a) at wheel carrier
5 Install in the reverse order
