Vacuum Element For Diverter Flap

The diverter flap vacuum element actuates the diverter flap (air directly from evaporator to center nozzle) for control of the air to the center nozzle.

The diverter flap vacuum element is designed as a single-stage vacuum element.

Function:

The vacuum element for the diverter flap (41) is controlled automatically depending on the average set temperature deviation on the interior air temperature sensor and outdoor temperature by the automatic air conditioning pushbutton control module via the valve block (Y11).
When vacuum is present on the vacuum element for the diverter flap (41), the flap is opened.
