Function:

The center nozzle flap switchover valve in the valve block (Y11) is actuated when the knurled dial for the center nozzle is turned. In this manner, vacuum is present at the center nozzle flap vacuum element (48) and the center nozzle flap is opened.
A potentiometer is attached to the center nozzle adjustment selector.
A feedback potentiometer is located in the center nozzle flap vacuum element (48). This feedback potentiometer indicates to the automatic air conditioning pushbutton control module the momentary flap position.
