Remove/install bottom part of oil pan







Remove/Install

DANGER:
- Risk of death. Death may result if vehicle slips or topples from the lifting platform.
- Align vehicle between the columns of the lifting platform and position the four support plates at the lifting platform support points specified by the vehicle manufacturer.

1 Remove engine compartment paneling.
2 Remove underride guard.

NOTE: On model 463 except 463.246 the underride guard is fastened with 4 bolts. Model 463.246 with Engine 113.982.

3 Drain and collect engine oil

NOTE: Installation: Replace sealing ring of oil drain plug.

4 Detach fixture of automatic transmission ATF lines at bottom part of oil pan.
5 Unscrew oil pan bottom section (1).
6 Remove oil pan bottom section (1).

NOTE: Installation:
- Application of sealing compound to oil pan bottom section: Engine 112.
- Information on application of sealant to oil pan.

7 Install in the reverse order.
