Top Locked at Front

Removal, Installation and Adjustment of Limit Switch - Top Locked At Front (only possible with top tester produced by Bara-Electronic)

Preceding work:
Removal of window key on upper wind protector
Removal of trim on upper windshield Service and Repair






Plug connector (c) disconnect
Screws (arrows, 3 pieces) unscrew
Lock take out
Screw (1) unscrew
Plastic guide over wire unclip (if fitted)
Microswitch with wire remove

Installation takes place in reverse sequence

NOTE: Check limit switch adjustment with top tester (lock funnel screwed on, lock with plastic wedge placed underneath)

Check adjustment
Top tester connect
Adjustment 3 times check

Adjustment
Front lock expose
Screws (arrows) unscrew
Lock raise and place plastic wedge underneath
Screw (1) detach
With limit switch in elongated hole traverse

Actual dimension less than nominal value:
With limit switch downwards in elongated hole travel

Actual dimension more than nominal value:
With limit switch upwards in elongated hole travel
Screw(1) fasten
Adjustment with top tester check (3 times)

Installation takes place in reverse sequence
