Removal and Installation of Valve Blocks
Preliminary jobs:
Remove coupe roof (operating instructions).
Remove baggage shelf. Service and Repair
Remove coverings in rear.
Remove occasional (rear) seats. [1][2]Procedures

A. Roll bar valve block (A57)
Plug connectors (a, b) disconnect
Hydraulic lines (c, d, e, f, g, h) remove on valve block
NOTE: Hydraulic line no. 101 (d) is under pressure. When the hydraulic line is disconnected cover connection with rag. Screw plugs onto hydraulic lines and into connections on valve block immediately.

Hydraulic lines d, e, f, g, h:

Removal, Installation
NOTE: To remove hydraulic lines press cable duct away slightly (spreading rivet removed).
1. Screw down nuts (arrows).
2. Install in opposite order.
3. Check for proper function and leakage.
B. Valve block, left (Y56)
C. Valve block, right (Y55)
Plug connector (a) disconnect
Hydraulic lines remove on valve block
NOTE: The hydraulic lines and connections on the valve block must be plugged immediately with the appropriate plugs

Removal, Installation
1. Screw off center catch, mark position with felt tip pen, (do not disconnect hydraulic lines). Service and Repair
Center catch, left
2. Cut lining in top compartment in area of retainer nut with knife (arrow, right). After removal glue lining back on.
3. Press center catch away slightly and screw off nuts (arrow, left).
4. Install in opposite order.
5. Check for proper function and leakage.
