77-325 Removal And Installation Of Rear Catches, Left And Right

Special Tool:

Removal, Installation

NOTE: Press lever for emergency actuation down with open end wrench (vehicle tool kit). For this purpose simultaneously press the lock in the catch down with a screwdriver. Remove hydraulic lines only beginning with item 8.







1 Remove piston rod on top compartment cover.
2 Press in piston rod.







3 Mark position of catches with felt tip pen.
4 Screw off nuts (arrows).










5 Open cable straps (arrows) and expose hydraulic lines.







6 Lay catches down in top compartment.
7 Remove hydraulic lines.
8 Reinstall in opposite order.







Installation instructions for new catches
Clamp catch into vice, remove plugs.
Press lever for emergency actuation down with open end wrench (vehicle tool kit). To do this simultaneously press the lock in the catch down with a screwdriver. Lay rags over the connections on the hydraulic cylinder.

9 Check for proper function and leakage.
