Power Door Lock Actuator: Service and Repair

Door panelling
Remove. Removal and Replacement

Cover (7)
Loosen (arrow).

Sliding sleeve (1)
Push backwards.

Switch rod (2)
Press out.

Screws (3)
Loosen.

Actuator (S47, S48)
Disconnect.

Strain relief (5)
Push away.

Electric cable
Disconnect.

Pneumatic line (6)
Lever off with open-end wrench (width between flats 7).

Electrical or pneumatic function of actuator (S47, S48)
Check. Testing and Inspection

Adjust actuator (S47, S48) to installation position
By pushing sliding sleeve (1) fully backwards and pulling out switch rod retainer (4) until it locks.

Actuator
Install in reverse order.
