Replacing Headliner - Soft Top

Repair solution for headliner without rail on corner braces

NOTE: Install headliner with MB special glue, part number 000 989 92 71.







Headliner
remove on soft top frame and on braces.

Headliner
cut off along bow (1).

Headliner (remaining strips)
glue onto corner brace (2, arrow at right).

Headliner (3, new part)
glue into rail (4), part number 129 774 25 47, up to bead.

Screws (8 each)
screw out of bow (1), observe hole pattern on rail (4).

Rail (4)
fasten with screws (8 each) to bow (1).

Headliner
install on braces and soft top frame.


NOTE: If wrinkles are present correct by moving headliner (3) in rail (4).
