If the instrument cluster (A1) is activated, e.g. by opening the driver's door, the basic display of the basic function (trip and total mileage) always appears in the multifunction display (A1p13).

Calling up display of different Systems
Function prerequisites:
Terminal 15R: ON

By pressing one of the system select push-button (S110s3) on the multifunction steering wheel the multifunction display (A1p13) is switched to the basic display of the next or previous system.

The duration of actuation is of no importance. Pressing the upper button causes the display to change to the next system. Pressing the lower button causes the display to change to the previous system.

After running through all the systems, the display returns to the main screen of the basic function and then begins running through the systems again from the beginning.

The accompanying illustration shows the possible Systems arranged in a circle.

When the upper system select pushbutton (S110s3) is pressed, the display jumps clockwise (right arrow) to the next system. When the lower system select pushbutton (S110s3) is pressed, the display jumps counterclockwise (left arrow) to the previous system.

NOTE: Only systems and functions with which the vehicle is equipped are displayed If a system is not present, it will be skipped when the system select pushbutton (S110s3) is pressed.

Browsing within a system
Function prerequisites:
Terminal 15R: ON

In addition to the main screen, most Systems also feature other screens.

The scroll forward/back pushbutton (S110s1) is used for browsing within a system.

The function of the scroll forward/back pushbutton is shown in the illustration below taking the basic system as an example. On each press of the scroll forward/back pushbutton (S110s1), the display changes. The direction of browsing depends on which segment of the button (up arrow, down arrow) is pressed.

NOTE: The driver can jump to another system from any screen by pressing the system select pushbutton (S110s3).
