AR67.30-P-4000K Remove/Install Rear Side Window












Remove
1 Prepare glue cartridge
- 2-component repair kit for installing glued window panes
2 Remove molding from rear side window
3 Remove paneling on B-pillar
4 Remove paneling on C-pillar
5 Remove right side trim panel in rear

DANGER: Risk of injury from slipping when clamping blade in the multicutter and from glass splinters when cutting out glued windows
- Always interrupt air supply when inserting or removing blade
- Wear protective gloves and eye protection

6 Cut out side window (1) with cutting blade

7 Remove rear side window (1) from body with suction cups

Install
8 Replace rubber and other spacers

NOTE: Do not remove protective foil

9 Prepare window for installation
10 Prepare body flange for installation of window
11 Align side window in body opening

See "Special Tools" given below.

12 Remove protective foil from rubber spacers
13 Apply glue
- Betagun 2K electric cartridge gun. See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

NOTE: Height of glue bead approx. 13 mm

CAUTION: Install window within 10 minutes before adhesive force of glue starts to decrease


14 Insert side window

See "Commercially Available Tools" given below.

NOTE: Curing time is approx. 1 hour, calculated from the time the rear side window is installed.


15 Install molding on rear side window
16 Install side paneling in rear
17 Install paneling on C-pillar
18 Install paneling at B-pillar
19 Clean rear side window
