Removing And Installing Xenon Headlamp Control Module With Ignition Module

Model 208:

DANGER:
- Parts under high tension Do not touch
- Do not touch parts conducting high voltage.
- Persons with electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should not perform any type of work on the ignition system.
- High voltage from Xenon headlamps
- Do not touch parts conducting high voltage.
- Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should not perform work on Xenon headlamps.

1 Remove headlamp unit
2 Unscrew screws (14) and remove housing cover(1)
3 Unscrew nuts (15)
4 Remove xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n2, E2n2)
5 Unscrew screws (17)
6 Remove housing cover (2) by turning to left
7 Disconnect connector (18)
8 Press out grommet (19) and remove xenon headlamp control module (E1n2, E2n2) with xenon headlamp ignition module (E1n1, E2n1)
9 Reinstall in opposite order
10 Check for proper function
