Removing And Installing Electric Headlamp Range Adjustment Motor

DANGER:
- Contact with components under high voltage can pose lethal hazard
- Do not touch parts under high voltage. People with electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should not perform work on ignition system.
- High voltage from Xenon headlamps
- Do not touch parts conducting high voltage.
- Persons with active electronic implants (e.g. heart pacemakers) should not perform work on Xenon headlamps.

1 Remove headlamp unit
2.1 Remove housing cover (1)
3.1 Disconnect electrical connector (2)
4 Turn headlamp range adjustment motor (E1m1, E2m1) to right
5 Turn adjustment screw (3) to left and remove headlamp range adjustment motor (E1m1, E2m1)

NOTE: After replacing motor for headlamp range adjustment program zero position with HHT

6 Reinstall in opposite order
