Function of Shift 1 to 2

AIM
- To engage clutch K1 and disengage the multiple-disc brake B1

FUNCTION

1st. Gear Engaged
- The end face of the command valve (31a) is kept depressurized via the solenoid valve (Y3/6y3). Operating pressure (p-A) is applied to the multiple-disc brake B1 via the holding pressure shift valve (28a) The clutch K1 is depressurized

Shift Phase
- The shift valve pressure (p-SV) is switched to the end face of the command valve (31a) via the solenoid valve (Y316y3). The command valve is moved and the shift pressure (p-S) coming from the shift pressure shift valve (29a) is led to the clutch K1 via the command valve (31a). At the same time overlap pressure is applied to the multiple-disc brake B1 from the overlap regulating valve (30a).

- The B1 pressure acting on the end face of the shift pressure shift valve (29a) is superseded by the operating pressure (p-A). The increasing shift pressure (p-S) at the clutch K1 acts on the annular area of the overlap regulating valve (30a) and reduces the overlap pressure regulated by the overlap regulating valve (30a). This switches over at an appropriate pressure level at the holding pressure shift valve (28a).

2nd Gear Engaged
- After the gear is changed, the pressure on the end face of the command valve (31a) is reduced via solenoid valve (Y3/6y3) and this is moved into the basic position. Via the holding pressure shift valve (28a) operating pressure (p-A) now reaches the clutch K1 via the command valve (31a) The multiple-disc brake B1 is disengaged (depressurized). The spring of the shift pressure shift valve (29a) pushes this into the basic position.
