Removing, Installing Tensioning Rail

1 Remove cylinder head (87)
2 Remove timing case cover (65)

NOTE: The oil sump need not be removed

CAUTION: Do not damage oil sump gasket (arrow), use care when taking off timing case cover (65), replace oil sump gasket, if necessary.

3 Pull tensioning rail (19) off bearing pin (17)

NOTE: The plastic panel of the tensioning rail (19) is clipped in place and can be replaced separately.

4 Install in the reverse order.
