Oil Level Warning Indicator: Description and Operation

TASK
Warning the driver of insufficiently low oil level by means of the indication in the instrument cluster.

DESIGN/FUNCTION
Oil level switch at oil pan switches to GND. Contact opens if oil level too low.

NOTE: As of production break point of CAN-capable instrument cluster, the information is transmitted through CAN from the ME-SFI control module to the instrument cluster.
