Function of Desynchronizing Sliding/Pop-Up Roof (SR)

Definition
Desynchronization cancels synchronization of the sliding/pop-up roof meaning that the counter status for position measurement is not valid.

Function
Desynchronization is accomplished when
- the overhead control panel control module (N70) has been disconnected from the power supply (e.g. by disconnecting the battery, removing or installing the control module) or
- an error has been recognized in the position measurement or
- the drive has locked up.

In all these cases the relationship between the counter status for position measurement and the actual position of the sliding/pop-up roof is no longer valid. Resynchronization is therefore necessary.
