Alternator: Service and Repair

Removal, installation
1 Disconnect battery ground line

CAUTION: In model 210, insulate the ground line terminal in order to protect against undesired connection between the ground line and the ground point W10.

2 Remove bottom engine compartment panel
- Model 202
- Model 208

3 Remove ribbed V-belt
- Engines 112, 113

4 Disconnect electrical lines (1/2)
- Nut to terminal B+
- Refer to Alternator below

- Nut to terminal D+
- Refer to Alternator below

5 Unscrew alternator screws (3)
Refer to Alternator below

6 Remove alternator (G2) downwards
7 Install in the reverse sequence
