Hinge Lever on Trunk Lid and Top Compartment Cover

Preliminary jobs:
Trunk lid removed. Service and Repair
Top compartment cover removed. Top Compartment Cover





Lining in trunk
remove partially.

Lever (2)
remove, install.

Gas spring
remove, install.

Tab on hinge bolt
bend up, bend back.

Hinge bolt (3)
remove, install (with grease).

NOTE: If only the trunk lid hinge is removed, the top compartment cover hinge must be fixed with a screw (M8x15).

It is not necessary to remove the top compartment cover for this purpose.
