Triggered Alarm
Function prerequisites
An alarm can be triggered by the antitowing sensor (TS) only when the anti-theft alarm (ATA) is activated and the anti-towing sensor feature has not been deactivated.
Function
The anti-towing sensor (TS) monitors changes in the position of the parked vehicle caused by an attempt to tow the vehicle, etc.
An alarm is triggered when the ATA receives a signal to trigger the alarm at the corresponding alarm input from the ATA inclination sensor (B33). The ATA control module (N26) then triggers the acoustic and optical alarm.
NOTE: A maximum of three alarms in sequence can be triggered with the TS feature.
