Replacement of Window Frame Molding on Driver's Door

Preliminary work:
Removal and installation of exterior mirror.
Removal and installation of outer sealing bar. Refer to "Replacement of Sealing Bar". Service and Repair
Removal and installation of surround on driver's door. Refer to "Replacement of Surround". Service and Repair

















Window guide rail in area of molding
remove
Molding (1)
remove with caulking tool, use special tool 116 589 07 59 00.
Molding (1)
install, whilst starting the top rear and aligning molding flush with window frame.
Molding (1)
install with caulking tool, whilst checking the installed position (arrow) to surround.
Surround (2)
install, (Repair instructions "Replacement of Surround"). Service and Repair
Reinstall in opposite order.
