Remove/Install Armrest Lid on Center Console

Cover (2)
remove.
Screw (3)
screw out (2 each) TX 30.
Cover (4)
unclip and remove (2 each).
Socket (5) and leaf spring disc (6)
remove (2 each).
Armrest (1)
remove toward front. Observe installation note!
Reinstall
in opposite order.


Installation note







Before installing ensure that the lock on the armrest is pressed (arrows).

Disassembly







1 Unhook control cable (3) at front.







2 Unclip sliding cover (arrows) and remove (arrows).







3 Screw out screw (7), (T45)







4 Screw out screws (8). Unclip housing (9), (arrows) and remove housing (9) upward.







5 Screw out screws (10), TX 30 (4 each) on bearing (11) and remove bearing (11).







6 Screw out screws (12) and remove lock.







NOTE: The cover cannot be removed from the foam pad on the armrest. It is only possible to replace the cover completely together with the foam pad.







7 Reassemble in opposite order.


NOTE: All screws with metric threads are micro-encapsulated and must be replaced after disassembly or coated with a screw locking agent (Loctite). Observe installation note!
