Trunk / Liftgate Latch: Service and Repair

Replacing And Adjusting Microswitch (Striker Eye Switch S88/3s1) On Trunk Lid Power Locking

Preliminary work:
Retracting trunk lid handle removed.

Component Identification:

Emergency actuating lever (30)
Actuate.
Striker eye (100)
Press in.
Pneumatic connection to actuating element (10)
Disconnect.
Connection on microswitch (S88/3s1)
Disconnect.
Two screws (70)
Unscrew.
Counter plate (80)
Remove.
Trunk lid power locking
Extend with side of actuating element first and remove.

Reinstall in opposite order.
Adjustment of striker eye, refer to "Replacing And Adjusting Microswitch (Striker Eye Switch)". Service and Repair
Perform function check.
