Front Door Striker: Service and Repair

Driver's or rear door
open.
Screw (1 and 2)
screw out, use T40 internal Torx socket wrench insert (20 Nm).
striker eye (3)
remove.
Tapped plate (4)
can be removed from the sheet metal cage in the B-pillar after removing the B- pillar panelling.
When installing the striker eye (3)
tighten by hand, then adjust striker eye (item 12 - 13), refer to "Replacement and Adjustment of Doors - Driver's Door". Service and Repair
