Remove/Install CD Player With Changer

Quiescent current retention unit
disconnect, connect.
Ground cable at battery
disconnect, connect.
Cover (1)
remove, insert.
Bolts (2)
unscrew, screw in.
CD player with changer (A2/6) and mount
remove, insert.


NOTE: When inserting, push the mount in behind the body panel (arrow) to lock it.


Electrical connections (3)
disconnect, connect (changer for 10 CD's).


NOTE: As of approx.10.92 CD player with changer for 6 CD's and interface.
As of approx. 09.93 CD player with changer for 6 CD's without interface.


NOTE: After connecting the battery, the following fault may occur. The store is no longer ejected, or no longer locks in place.


Cause:
The cause is a faulty mode detection in the CD player with changer.

Remedy:







Disconnect battery again.
Open door of store (1).
Press store eject button (2), hold pressed and at the same time connect battery.
The store eject mechanism is activated automatically and the store (3) is ejected. Press in store (3) and close door (1). Perform functional check of CD player run changer.
