AR72.12-P-1970-01FB Removing Fixed Window At Rear Door
(Model 210 with CODE 979 Special Protection version with CODE Z04 Light Armoring with CODE Z06 B6 Armoring)






1. Carefully pull out seal (2) below trim strip (1).

The seal may be attached to the window and trim strip with sealing compound and adhesive, it may be damaged when removed.

2. Remove trim strip (1).

If the trim strip is stuck onto the window, it will be damaged when removed.







3. Fix seal (2) to door frame with adhesive tape.
4. Carefully detach seal (3) from window and door frame and remove.

The seal is attached to the window and door frame with sealing compound, it may be damaged when removed.

5. Remove residual sealing compound from window and door frame.







6. Secure window to prevent it from falling down.
7. Loosen lock nut (4) and unscrew bolts (5).

On vehicles without a reinforcement on the bottom edge of the window, a metal washer is installed between the window and bolt (5). It is not used when installing a new window.

8. Remove angle bracket (6).
(angle bracket is a 2-piece design on the "B6 version")

9. Tilt window out and up, remove in direction of travel and place on a secure surface.

Only remove the window with a second person.
