Removal, installation
1. Remove front axle shaft (60), refer to Axle Shaft - Service and Repair - Procedures [1][2]Procedures
Disassembling, assembling
2. Detach rubber boots (60j or 60d) from joint
Circlip pliers for hose clips
3. Drive out outer joint (60l)
4. Pull rubber boots (60j or 60d) off front
Removal: The rubber boot (60d) can axle shaft (60) only be pulled off when the outer joint (60l) has been driven out. The inner joint (60b) cannot be removed.
Installation: To push on the rubber boots, place a suitable assembly sleeve on the splined shaft section of the front axle.
5. Check circlip (60a) and plastic protective ring (60m) and replace if necessary
6. Install in reverse order
