Windshield Washer Relay: Description and Operation

Purpose
Control of washer pump (M5/1)

Design
Two relays are located in the washer pump switchover relay (K26/2)

Function
The direction of rotation of the washer pump (M5/1) is switched over by the windshield washer pump switchover relay (K26/2) when the function is changed over with the windshield washer pump switch (S4s4) or the rear wiper switch (S6/1s4).

Location
The windshield washer pump switchover relay (K26/2) is located in the fuse and relay box.
