Function of Closing Sliding/Pop-Up Roof (SR)

Function
The closing function for the sliding/pop-up roof is available only when sliding/pop-up roof is synchronized. It is started by pulling the sliding/pop-up roof switch (N70s1) down.

The overhead control panel control module (N70) then actuates the motor for the sliding/pop-up roof (M12/1).

The direction in which the motor is actuated depends on whether the sliding roof or pop-up roof was opened previously. The motor is actuated until the overhead control panel control module (N70) recognizes that the sliding/pop-up roof is dosed by means of the position measurement feature or recognizes that the sliding/pop-up roof is locked up.
