Function sequence
1 Function prerequisites
- Circuit 15 ON
- Circuit 61 ON
2 The thermostat on the rear of the mirror glass measures the temperature of the mirror glass.
3 At a mirror glass temperature of <= 15 °C the mirror defroster is switched on by the thermostat.
3 Upon reaching a mirror glass temperature >= 25 °C the mirror defroster is switched off by the thermostat.
4 The mirror defroster continues to be switched on and off until the mirror glass temperature remains >= 15 °C.


The mirror defroster receives power from the front driver-side door control module (N69/1) and front passenger-side door control module (N69/2).
